One of our star players, Andrew Avery, was recently placed on the "disabled list" (DL) due to chicken pox. He just nicely recovered from the pox and is now battling a cold.Andrew's teammates sent him a get well card and a couple of books recently to keep him busy while he recuperates.
We all send our "get well" wishes and hope you're back soon.
Andrew lives in Cobourg and makes the trip up to Peterborough (or the road games) when he's feeling well. We thank his parents Dave and Julie for making the commitment to have Andrew playing for the Jack McGee Kawartha Komets.
