Scotiabank Sponsors the Kawartha Komets for a Second Season

The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program was the beneficiary of Scotiabank's sponsorship of minor hockey for a second season in a row.  The Komets and several other local hockey teams were invited to a Pizza Party at the Scotiabank branch at Hunter and Water Streets in Peterborough recently. 

Each team received a $1,000 cheque for their organization.  A good representation of Komets players, family members and care givers were on hand for the occasion.  Members of the Peterborough Petes were on hand to sign autographs and the ever popular Roger, the mascot, was the star of the evening.
