The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program celebrated seven (7) succcessful seasons at our year-end awards banquet on Saturday, May 14th at Rhema Christian School.
An excellent turnout of players, families, coaches, volunteers and board members had a very enjoyable time. Komets board members Lorrie Powers and Lisa Mills organized the event which included face painting, a photo booth where players could dress up with crazy hats, clothes, glasses, etc. and a hockey shoot out game.
All players received their trophy whether they had been with the organization for 7 years, 6 months or 2 weeks.
The Kawartha Komets, a registered charitable organization with the Canada Revenue Agency (Registration # 801414939 RR0001), has three teams with a total of 65 players.
Registration forms for the upcoming 2016-2017 season can be found here on our web site.
