This will be the 5th year that we have played our OHL team, the Peterborough Petes. To date we have raised over $64,000 from these fundraisers with the Petes. All proceeds go to help send our Komets players to their annual tournament. In 2012 the tournament was held in England and it was too costly to send our teams across the Atlantic. That year we raised $15,000 for the Five Counties Children's Centre, believing that we should be giving back to the community...especially to agencies that assist individuals with special needs.
Proceeds from this year's game will be used to help send our players to two (2) tournaments...the KIP Friendship Tournament in Kitchener in February and the Special Hockey International (SHI) Tournament here in Peterborough in March.
Come on and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with these two great organizations. It'll be FUN...for sure! Just ask the kids!!!
The Kawartha Komets will be BLAZING!!!
